“I'm looking to use this to connect fom a LG TV with an optical audio output to a RCA jacks for a Sony RF Wireless Headphones, but I'm wondering if I will be able to hear both my cable and my Roku for Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Will this work?”

This converter will send the audio signal from your TVs Optical Output to the RCA input on your headphones. Make sure the TV's Audio Output format is set to PCM.
