It should. I just got a TCL 55S405 and had the audio going from the cable box into myTechnics SA-GX 130 , but the streaming audio only came through the tv's speakers and the only audio output jack is the fiber optic. Ick. So I got the f/o cable and the converter (which comes with stereo RCA patch cord) and plugged it in to my receiver. Sounds great!
