• Yes, I bought this for my car which is not Bluetooth compatible and you just plug the receiver into the aux port and pair your phone. Works really well.

• Yes, as long as tour stereo has an AUX input. I have mine paired to my iPhone 11 and use it to listen to my music in my car.
