how long will it play on new batteries? null

I have not had to change the batteries yet. The brand and age of batteries determine the play life generally in small tech stuff. Don't leave the item in a hot car with batteries in it and take them out if not using the player for more than a few days.

Longer than 15 hours on new batteries.
