If other CD's play then there is an issue with the CD. I have had defective CD's in the past, especially burned ones. If the CD player is not working, first try installing fresh batteries and make sure the LCD screen is showing numbers. Check that it is turned on. Beyond that I have no other solutions except to bring it to the Geek Squad so they can look at it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Be sure you clean your disc with a soft cotton cloth. and be sure it's pushed down. Check that your batteries are fresh and in the proper position….negative-positive etc. OPen the booklet that came with the disc. turn to the page with the picture of the player and numbers pointing to the various buttons etc. Don't just try over and over by pressing buttons. You need a clean start every time. Open the cover and reclose. That gives you a clean slate. Read the numbers and what they control...As I recall to start the player I have it facing me with the cord coming out of the left side....so on the right side I press once firmly on the right side of the horizontal top piece.(check the picture) The left side on this horizontal piece requires two pushes to stop it...but to start I press firmly once on the right and then wait. It doesn't start instantly. It must be searching...,then finding...then starting. Good luck!
