• If you get the proper cord and have an aux (2.5 or 3 mm) audio input jack in your car, then yes you can use it. Just get the proper cord to match the output jack on the CD player to the input of the car.

• If you have an audio jack port it will work. We bought this because of that very reason. It is a little "clunky" in that it is not controlled by the radio like the iPod is, and you have to remember to turn it off when you stop your car - or else it keeps going - but it works.

• If you have an audio input in your car, you can purchase an audio cable and connect it that way. You can use the Portable CD player with batteries or you can purchase an auxiliary adapter and plug it to your cigarette car plug.
