I use it to listen to Books on CD, too. No, it does not remember where you left off, once you turn it off; it starts all over at the beginning of the disc. However, I've been able to PAUSE it for indefinite time, until I want to listen to it again. You can go forward or backward by a full track, but nothing in between. I've learned to make a note of which track I'm on before I turn it off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hit start button twice to pause
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. You need to fast forward each time. It can be paused by hitting the right side of the center button. When you return to player hit ut again to start where you left off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, unlike some more expensive CD players, this version does not retain its last place in the CD when you turn it off. It is working correctly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have not discovered a way to do this. It is a little frustrating. We make a note of where we stopped & fast forward to that spot... Very technologically clunky.
