If your car's stereo system has an auxiliary or media plug-in you can purchase an audio cable, plug it into the player's headphone jack then into the stereo's auxiliary/media jack and listen to your CD's through the car's speakers. I did this with my 2016 Smart ForTwo, added a power adapter to plug into the cigarette lighter power source and cup holder bracket to hold the player. Now after a year and a half I can listen to my CDs again! I recommend getting an audio cable with a 45 degree plug-in. Otherwise the cable sticks out and is unsightly/awkward looking.
