“The batteries only last for one or two days after minimal use . Have changed to fresh batteries twice.. Should I return It as defective. Thank you”

• I have had my player for about 2-3 weeks now, and in that time have played about 5 or 6 discs. I am still on the first set of batteries that came with it. I should note though, I'm using it through the line out connected to my stereo system. I am sure that uses less power than if I were driving headphones with it.

• I haven't noticed short battery life. Try shutting it off between uses.
