“My Insignia NS-P4112 only says "HOLD" in a small box on the side of the screen Every time I try to turn it on, there is only a small box that says "HOLD". I changed the batteries and tried again with different cds but it won't work. Help!”

• The hold switch is located on the left side of the player and when it is engaged, the buttons on the unit are locked so buttons are not accidently pressed. You will need to slide this hold switch to the off position and you will regain all functionality of the player.

• There is a hold button to the left of the headphones plug. Slide the button to the off position.
