Q: QuestionI bought this CD player last week and it doesn’t play my cd. I tried cleaning the cd and putting it back in and it won’t play the tracks. If I hold the play button down all I head it a constant clicking noise. Any ideas why it won’t play?

Q: Questioncan this CD player , play CD-Rom with MP3 Downloads ? I just bought one from Amazon and when I turned it on I couldn't hear anything. I called the manufacturer tech support and he said that the model I bought doesn't work for MP3 , Thanks Richard Harris

• A:Answer This one does not play MP3's. Insignia Model NS-P5113 plays them. It is only slightly more expensive. It also has an FM radio.

Q: Questionhow can I pause, turn off and then get back to the same place where I left off?

• A:Answer This model does not seem to store the place you paused or stopped once it's turned off. Once you turn it off, it returns back to the beginning. It seems that you have to pause it and leave it on or turn it off and just remember where you stopped. It performs well in that it doesn't skip and plays well (no skipping, good sound) even when it's moved around but the lack of memory appears to be a downside. Of course it is less expensive than the models with memory.

• A:Answer It better be! I bought an adapter for my car, but haven't hooked it up yet. I did research before buying it and was confident that it will work (I believe the unit can sometimes be bought with the adapter included). Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionI have 2 new out of box insignia nsp4112 disc players . The trouble is both units won’t work with the headsets,I plugged in an external speaker to the out jack and it works,I plugged the head phones in to my iPad and they work. Can you help as to why

• A:Answer My headphones work fine, but the auxiliary jack can be touchy. When plugging it into my car, I have to pull the jack partly out of the CD player & twist it just so. This is a brand new unit, BTW. Also has a lot of static in the playback. But I don't have a lot of choice, since my new car did not come with a CD player. Anyway, my advice is to play around with how deeply you set the headphone jack in the unit.
