Since the ice maker doesn't keep the ice frozen once the ice is in the tray, when you transfer the ice to a container in the freezer, you need to move physically move the ice around with your fingers or other utensil. It helps if you dump each batch of ice into the freezer and not let the ice sit in the ice maker tray too long. When I use this technique, I don't experience the "blobbing" of ice. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, I have the same one...I place the ice a little at a time in a gallon baggy and in the freezer for about 30 min. I then break up the ice in the counter and pour into a bucket in the freezer
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When making ice I put them in one gallon ziplock bags and put it in the freezer. When the following tray gets full I get the bag out of the freezer and hit it against the counter top softly once on each side. Repeat this every cycle and no issues...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pour the ice in a clean paper sack and fold. Removes the extra moisture. It works
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you put your full open zip lock of ice inside a brown paper grocery bag they don’t stick together.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Put the cubes in a plastic zip lock bag and then just take the ice out and drop on the counter, it breaks them apart nicely. Don't need to drop hard, just a little drop or two and the ice should be broken apart.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t know what works for sure but I will tell you I’ve kept mine in a ziploc bag and that absolutely does not work. Also the Tupperware container does not work. I’m gonna try the paper sack idea.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you place the ice made in the Insignia in a plastic zip lock bag before you place it it the freezer then wait a few hours you can drop the bag on a hard surface to break the lumps before you place them in a tray.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When you move the ice into a Tupperware or plastic container, ice does not stick together.
