Nope. If you use an over powered adapter it will. They’d see the charred caps and resistors when they opened the unit. This one is within Nintendo’s spec for their own charger so it’s perfectly fine.

No, it merely charges your switch, the same way that the base charges it. Insignia is a well reputable brand, if you have any issues I would contact them, but you should be fine.

This adapter charges the console and is safe (UL approved) - no reason that it would ever void any warranties.
