The latency is around 100ms and this converter doesn't upscale.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this RCA to HDMI converter play VHS and DVD on an Old Insignia player. I connect the HDMI output directly to a HDMI on my new QLED Samsung TV. It plays DVD's and OLD VHS tapes( SD format) converted to 1080 and TV upscales to 4K. The tapes are old family stuff with to much noise, but watchable. Video DVD's do much better. You can select between lo and high density with a switch. This unit is not very expensive and is returnable if it doesn't work as you expected. I am very happy to still view the old family tapes.
