• NO! If I knew what inputs your receiver has, I could answer your question better, but, if your receiver has HDMI inputs, all your audio and video gear are connected to that, and one HDMI cable runs to your tv! If not, then you need an optical cable that runs from your tv to the optical input of your receiver!
