• This may be due to your TV, OR, the way the media was originally recorded. Our TV is brandnew and it had no problem with DVD's, some VHS tapes do not fill the screen horizontally. But we are fine with that.

• This converter does not have an option to adjust the aspect ratio. Try to adjust the aspect ratio from the TV's settings.
