I am experiencing the SAME issue. We have no way to use the purifier because we cant find a replacement filter any where. I dont know whether to be more angry with Insignia or Best Buy. Im definitely leaving reviews all over the place though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't find replacement filters from any source. Beware the measurements shown in the Best buy website are incorrect. The original filter is 11.75 inches high and 8.9 inches in diameter. Instead you can clean your"disposable" HEPA filters. Several YouTube videos describe various methods for cleaning the filters. Your mileage may vary. https://youtu.be/-zxFjfRmAgc https://youtu.be/r79yi2u4YQA
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I couldn't find replacement filters anywhere from October until two days ago (March 28). Insignia replied to one customer and it didn't address their question/concern. I tried eight times to respond to Insignia's comment and I get rolled back over to the filter product page. I think the agreement BB made to sell these products is a terrible one when replacement parts can't be found anywhere and the filter "lasts up to six months" claim in advertising is in fact false.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found some on Amazon, but I shouldn't have to use Amazon to buy an Insigina product. I might just use my extended warranty to take this back since they do not sell the darn part I need to use it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also bought the purifier in August and have needed a filter since November. It's so frustrating that no filters can be found anywhere. I'm going to research about cleaning the original one but it's incredibly greedy that BB is still selling the units and not the filters for them.
