Hi! This remote control is for LG TVs, so I don't think that it will work for your Insignia model. Also the Insignia TV that you have requires it's own remote control since it controls the unit via Bluetooth and IR. I know that having just one remote control for several devices is helpful, however, based on the type of signal needed for the TV and for the cable box, my advice would be to use the original Insignia Fire remote control and the one for the cable box.
