“Does this replace the old magic remote for the older model LG smart tv?”

• It works with my LG TV which has the old magic remote. I purchased this as we had cut cable and it was interesting trying to change channels on local TV. It worked as soon as I inserted batteries, there was no configuration required. I have not had any issues with it so far. Hope this helps!
