• yes your 2014 should work with this , you can also use a universal remote as long as it says vizio and a matching year date

• This XRT112 was recommended to me by Vizio also, didn’t get it to work, they said contact them if it didn’t work for technical help, haven’t done so yet, the knock offs on Amazon didn’t work on my tv either.
