• The setting on the TV needs to be set to PCM format.

• OK, I feel a little better knowing that I am not the only one having trouble with this issue. The first one I bought I took back to the store because of this problem. Best Buy was very nice and gave me another one to take it's place, I took it home and it worked real good for about a week, then I started having trouble with it. I intend to return it tomorrow. I would say I am not smart enough to hook it up but there is nothing to hook up except for one cord. Perhaps it is not compatible to all TVs, I don't know. I have a Samsung. Sorry, I am not much help.
