A:AnswerThe main inside “pocket” measures 7 1/2 X 5 1/2 inches with a 2 inch depth. You can probably take a very sharp razor and trim the foam insert a little to get the extra 1/4 inch.
This case is a soft shell case - so I would not advise stacking items on top of this with your Garmin unit inside but it would protect it from drops and scraps.
The extra pockets would hold any other cords or attachments that are necessary for your GPS device. There is also a Velcro pocket on the inside top cover that holds additional thin items.
