• It is about 5' long (1.5m) and the color is the usual black. It is only two-prong (non-grounded) so a household extension cord works fine. Just beware of that and use common sense for safety/tripping over hazards which can knock your hot oil over and cause a fire. Also be mindful that when using at the higher power settings (7-8) it draws a lot of amps. So be careful if you are running another high wattage/amp appliance at the same time on an outlet that shares the same circuit breaker in your wall.
