You should use a cord capable of 20 amps as this uses 15 amps. You don’t want to have the cord heat up if you are cooking on the highest temperature or power levels. If you plan to use lower levels a 15 amp cord would be fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used the same extension cord I use for power tools a standard construction extension chord. It uses 1800 watts of power so would not recommend a light weight cord.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For the Insignia NS-IC1ZBK0 induction cooktop, you should use an extension cord rated at 15 Amps, 1800 Watts, minimum & no more than 20 feet long.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This uses a LOT of power. I'd stick with a 25 to 50 foot max length, and a 12-gauge wire size. If you go with 14 or 16 gauge wire, it could heat up too much and create a fire hazard. On high power, it uses 1800 watts which is the maximum some power breakers will allow, so use heavy, thick 12 gauge indoor/outdoor rated extension cable to be on the safe side.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do not use this product outdoors. You can use an extension cord that supports 120V/16A.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same type you would use for outdoor tools
