Yes it does fits like a glove
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This wouldn't mount to the 4 drive sleds in a Mac Pro 2008-2012. The screw holes for mounting are only on the sides of this mount. It may work if you plan on removing the optical drive and replacing with one or 2 SSDs. There are 2 extra SATA ports on the Mac Pro logic board you could connect to. Theoretically you can have 6 total SATA drives inside a Mac Pro.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't need it for my Mid 2010 Mac Pro. SSDs will fit on one of the drive slide-outs just like a regular HD, nothing else needed. I don't know, though, if the 2008 Mac Pro has the same drive mounting arrangement. You could buy it and bring it back if you don't need it. Best Buy's return policies are great. The mount is really intended for PCs.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No this is for Desktop cases.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have a MAC Pro, so I can't say. I believe it was only intended for mounting an SSD inside a PC. I also believe the SSD will mount in a MAC Pro without any need for an adaptor plate. But, to be sure, I would ask one of the sales people at Best Buy about your MAC Pro installation. They seem pretty knowledgeable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will not need this for a macbook pro. An SSD will mount right into the original harddrive bay without need of this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Measure the space your current drive occupies to determine this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not know. For my personal use and business, Mac Computers are not applicable. I have found too many lack of compatibilities. It seems that Mac Pro 2008 runs with some emulations that turn out SLOW responses and Excel Macros get corrupted. Mainly, I am not sure if a Mac Pro 2008 has the proper connectors for SATA II and SATA III SSD´s Drives. Furthermore, the Mac Pro 2008 [owned by a friend] did not permit to install a newer Version of the MAC OS.
