“I have my computer connected to the TV to view pics with the HDMI adapter. the TV shows the opening Computer screen but will not show any of the pics that show up on computer screen. any thoughts how to correct this??”

Check computer to make sure it is detecting the TV. If not set correctly, it will show only data images.

Please try again later.with my adapter i have connected an hdmi cable from the adapter pluged into a random usb port on the computer and the other end plugged into the t.v. set, i get pictures and sound. if i am viewing, say a pbs documentary off the computer, i see the moving picture and sound, though there is a slight lag in the sound so i turn the sound off on the computer. i only listen to the sound coming from the t.v. i also had best buy 'geeksquad' help me set it up. one geeksquad agent swore i was only able to get sound on either the computer or the t.v. but not both, he was wrong. i had to call geeksquad back and talk to someone else before i could get sound on the computer and the t.v. both.
