Can this device be used to play dvd player to a tv? null

DVD players will most likely have a HDMI output port on it so you can just use a HDMI cable from the DVD player to the tv. But no it can not because for this to work on a computer, the computer needs to download special files for this to work. And you cannot put these special files onto the DVD player. Sorry mate
