• I believe the Insignia rep misunderstood. Your motor is actually a 120V motor if purchased to work in the USA, and this converter will convert from up to 240V to 120V, so you should be fine. Contact Insignia's customer service by phone to make sure.

• Hi DP, In the USA the supply voltage is 120V while in India the supply voltage is 230V, unfortunately it will not work in India. Insignia Support Renee
