A:AnswerCheck the wattage on your waffle maker to see how it compares to the 1865W upper value for this converter. I used it for charging phones on the low wattage setting and left it charging overnight without a problem. With higher wattage devices, you may not be able to use it for anywhere near as long.
A:AnswerIf it worked for my 1875 watt hair dryer and flat iron with no problem, I can't imagine it wouldn't work for your CPAP and hot rollers. Make sure to bring both the converter and adapter. You may want to pack a power strip, as I've noticed that here in France that outlets aren't always right where you need them to be--like next to your bed. This was especially true in older places. The more modern hotels had pretty conveniently located outlets. Have fun!
A:AnswerThey will work but more than likely they will burn out. Not a fault of the converter just sensitive electronics in the curling iron. My wife got about 3 uses out of hers and her friend about 4.
A:AnswerI can't speak for the Nigeria experience .... However, I just returned from Israel and attempted to use this converter for my tablet and mobile phone and it did not work. I am glad I brought "2" wall plugs because even using the converter I burned out one of my plugs! I had to use one provided by the hotel and it worked fine. I just returned the item to Best Buy only to receive a store credit.
I hope this was of some help ....
