“Will this converter work for a waffle maker given that u can’t use it for more than 10mins? I saw a recipe where u have to preheat the waffle maker and then cook it for 8 mins so will it work. Do I switch it off for a few seconds between each waffle?”

Check the wattage on your waffle maker to see how it compares to the 1865W upper value for this converter. I used it for charging phones on the low wattage setting and left it charging overnight without a problem. With higher wattage devices, you may not be able to use it for anywhere near as long.
