QuestionRegarding Insignia Travel Adapter/Converter Model NS/MTC 1875 sku2432595We are traveling to Italy in November and planning to take our DEL laptop. Will the above referenced travel adapter/converter be adequate for use with the computer?

- Answer Yes, you will be able to use this adapter/converter. If your laptop is dual voltage (able to use 110-120V and 220-240V) you can connect it to the power outlet using just the adapter. If you have to also use the converter to convert the power, you will only be able to use it for 15 minutes at a time. This is standard for all converters due to the processes involved in stepping the power down.

- Answer Hi, Asly. This Adapter/Converter is designed to work with small mobile devices and it is limited to a 15 minutes use by 10 minutes rest in order to properly work and protect your products. - Answer Cell phones and camera chargers both use universal chargers so all you need is the adaptor portion of the kit. Don't rely on the voltage converter as it is meant for a max duty cycle of 15 minutes.

QuestionSo I have a European product that uses standard 220v but has a standard plug on it. Calls for 40 watts. I set this product to the high setting correct? Your site says this converter works for travel in the US but then the info inside box disagrees.

- Answer Hi, No, this product will not work the way you want it to, it will convert the high voltage on the power outlets in the countries overseas to get you a suitable voltage for your North American products, the voltage required for a North American products is 110-120 Volts. - Answer This unit converts a European electric outlet so that it can be used by US devices. It doesn't convert a US electric outlet so that it can be used by European devices. You need the other way around.

- Answer Yes. To all your questions. I traveled to Egypt (which also uses UK voltage) recently and used it every night to charge my cell phone, camera and backup battery pack. It is a converter and adapter just what you need!

- Answer You mean a 3 prong (grounded) cord? The adapter has only 2 prongs, although you can force a 3 prong plug in with the ground prong sticking out. Worked for me, no guarantees for you!

- Answer You don't need voltage converter for iPhone or macbook. They should work in a range of 110 to 240 volts. But you might need a plug adapter, if it is different.
