A:AnswerHi! The converter has an input of 220–240VAC, 50Hz and an output of 100–120VAC, 1875W Max. 50Hz. This also has an adapter to be used in China, so it can be used in this country. However, I recommend you to check the quick set up guide available on the Best Buy website before you use the product. Viri E. Insignia Support. https://www.insigniaproducts.com/contact-us

A:AnswerHi, Romera.
Thank you for sharing your inquiry with us. This Adapter/Converter is designed to be used with small devices such as phones, tablets, computers and for shorts periods of time (15 minutes of use by 10 minutes of rest). It is not likely that it will handle the energy requirements for your oven.

A:AnswerHi, Weeze.
Thank you for letting us know about your inquiry. This Adapter/Converter is designed to be used with small mobile devices and for short periods of time. It could work with your machine, but you have to use it for 15 minutes and then let the Converter rest for at least 10 to be used again.

A:AnswerHi, Suzy.
Thank you for writing this inquiry. The travel adapter/converter is and must be used to connect your devices with regular plug-ins to another type ones around the world. As well, the converter part allows you to lower the voltage that some countries have higher than the US. To check the full compatibility with your iron, please contact the manufacturer.

A:AnswerThe low setting is 0-25W and the high is 25-1875W. Instructions say not to use high setting for electronic circuitry items. The high setting is to be used for 10 minutes or less, for hair dryers, curlers etc. I don't know if you can use the converter long term for stereo equip. Check equip. to see if it will work on more than one current similar to cell phones.
A:AnswerI don’t know, but I can’t see why it would not, as long as the plug style in India matches one of your adapters. One of the adapters is labeled for “Asia,” but none specifically states “India.” You will need the converter as well as the adapter.

The other question is what is the Watts you need on your device? This travel kit maximum is 1875 Watts.
Most electronic devices can handle the 115/240 difference, so you just need an adapter. Just check the labels on your device or electrical plug to be sure.
A:AnswerMy kit converter converts US 120v to Europe 220V. You will need a different converter to convert Europe to USA, I think. There is a USA adapter in the kit.

Read the label on your charger. Does it say something like “AC 100 - 240 50-60w” or similar? Also how old is your charger? The newer ones can handle the 115/240v difference. So you only need an adapter which the travel kit has one for Israel.
A:AnswerHi! This converter will help you use your curling iron in another countries, however, please keep in mind that the converter is designed to be used only for 10 minutes or less for devices that require the "High Setting" like a curling iron or a hair dryer.
