“Will this work on a flat iron (hair straightener) that has the specs of 120V, 35W, 60 Hz while in Europe? Or do I need a stronger converter.. Description says "most appliances" and "Note: Not intended for high-wattage devices." Would a Chi hair straightener be considered high-wattage since it is continuously pulling 35W to keep straightener hot? Thank you”

Well, this is 50 watts, so it would work with your flat iron (it didn't work with mine because mine used higher watts). You should use it alone with it though (not in conjunction with something else plugged into it) in my opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.High wattage in this case means over 50 W. Since your straightener only pulls 35, you can use it. You will only be able to use for 10-15 minutes at a time though.
