• It is a great idea to tether the TV to the wall to prevent tip-over. I don't believe tethering it down low would provide greater safety from tip-over so long as your TV is on a non-slip stand. This stand does not have a tether point provided. The thick tempered glass top sits on top, and is fastened to a metal frame. You could drill a hole in the rear of the metal frame and use a sheet metal screw to attach your tether if you chose to.
