Q: QuestionCan it be used without the bottom piece ? I want To lay the stand on the floor without the leg part support bar

• A:Answer Yes, you can leave the bottom piece off, however.. you will need to take the little feet off the bottom of the 4 legs and screw into the holes where the support bar should go. This gives you the chance to level it. It looks great in our room that way.
