Usually the best reception is near a window but not always. If possible put the antenna outside a window or door and run the antenna scan function on your TV in an attempt to get as many channels that are available to you. After completing the scan bring the antenna back inside and check the reception of a channel you would like to watch in the future. Use the signal strength feature (available on most TVs) and move the antenna until you get the strongest signal strength for that particular channel. Make a note of the channel and the location of the antenna. Repeat the process for all the channels you desire. There likely will be some channels that you have no interest in, so skip the process for those channels. Depending on where you live you might have to repeat the process monthly because the FCC is changing the transmission frequency of channels across the country in stages and the changes should be completed by the end of April 2020
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on a # of things such as house or mobile home and how far u are from the stations
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It varies. If you have a lot of trees in your yard, this can effect signal strength. You just have to experiment with where it will work best. Moving the tv itself can also effect signal strength.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have one in my bedroom and it works better than the expensive one that I had in there that required power to "bring in more channels"
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It varies. Have to experiment by hanging it in different areas in that room. Also tv location can also effect picture signal strength for some reason.
