It seems to only be able program for TVs and set top box devices such as streaming media players etc. I cannot get it to work with my Sony Blu-ray player, I am returning it for another one that can.

This one only seems to be able to program for TVs and set top boxes such a streaming device etc. but not for DVD/Blu-ray or VHS players etc.
