Maybe. The employees of the Best Buy where I bought mine were of no help. I finally got an answer from looking up thr set on Google. The transmitter has an optical input and output. I'm using a Pioneer stereo receiver inatead of a sound bar. I ran the optical cable from my TV to the input of the transmitter then a second optical cable (includee) to the input on my stereo. It works well like this. It includes several adapters, so you should be able to use the red/white audio out jacks on your TV. You'll lilely need to adjust the delay to get the sound in sync.
