These speakers are not self powered. They have to be powered by rca line out from your amp so distance and line of sight are not a factor. Thanks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These speakers carry to each side of our family room. They can play at reasonably loud levels without distortion.I am using them with two other speakers for surround sound, but they can carry the music without the second set of speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Can’t really answer the multiroom question but mine are 25 feet away and the receiver is hidden from sight and they work great. Sound is not bad but you could upgrade the speakers if needed. I am very happy with mine as rear surrounds. Hope that helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The amplifier receiver location's line of sight does not matter -- the receiver does not produce any sound (only the speakers). At 30 ft from from the receiver, 14 AWG is a good choice for speaker wire. If your receiver has an auto-balance feature to balance all of the speakers with a microphone, use that to reduce worries about sound quality in a room with the main speaker set.
