Do these speakers have separate volume controls? null

Yes, they have a seperate remote to control volume independent from the audio source.

They were just set up after Christmas and at first we could not get the rear speakers control to work. Then we replaced the batteries and they both started working. From what I can tell thus far, everything is controlled from the receiver box and the volume control is established based upon the overall setting not individual settings. However, I am still learning about this because this was a Christmas present. Hope that helps.
