• Yes. It enables your card to be accessed as an external memory source. So you can transfer files both ways. The adapter doesn't do the transfer automatically or anything. You'll have to specify the source and destination of the photos. And yes, the destination of those photos can be the memory card you have plugged in.

• Every computer is different, and it will depend on your OS, but it works with mine in both directions, download and upload.
