“I just purchased this for my micro sd cards and their adapters. The reader is not acknowledging the adapter (sandisk or PNY). But is reads any regular sd card.?”

I didn’t notice there was a micro slot. But it still didn’t read them unless I reformatted to my Mac.

I use only Sandisk or PNY cards, both SD and microSD (not CF), and it works for me. I connect the device to a disk farm of external drives attached to a powered USB3 hub (A poor man's storage array). This allows maximum flexibility. Other computers can then network to the host computer and gain access to the farm. (Security would be easier if I were using a client/server network model. It's only me, so it's workable.) Sorry that I can't be more helpful.
