“I am trying to add a 2nd monitor to my computer. The Gateway monitor I want to add only has VGA connection and my larger monitor is using the only VGA port. I have HDMI & USB. Will this work for using the Gateway for an extended screen. Thanks”

• This is not bi-directional. It only works from VGA out to HDMI in. You would need a HDMI out to VGA in adapter to accomplish what you are describing.

• No. If you plan to do a dual monitor, you may need to get an adapter that allows you to split the screen. Else, if the main monitor support hdmi, check to see if your gpu has vga/dvi.
