I'm having trouble creating a custom routine and I was told that this does not have the capability of creating and running routines. Is that true? null

Both of mine do. Set routine on your phone in Google home app

I didn't think it did either, have been trying to make several default and custom routines work for a while but to no avail.

I'm not sure about custom routines, but I just discovered that default ones are indeed working as long as you say the word "routine" after the trigger! I'll try a custom one tomorrow and let you know how it goes, or please fill me in on your experience if you try first!
