QuestionCan you set the clock display to be off and turned on briefly using the buttons or waving? This would be very useful since the display can be a bit too bright a night. Also, can you incorporate routines into the display? For example: display off after 9pm

- Answer You can tell it to turn the display off and on, but I'm not sure if there is a mode to temporally come on then turn back off after a few seconds. You can set a good night and good morning routine that will automatically turn the display off and on as part of the routine.

QuestionMy Google Home device responds with a sounds when I say "OK Google" or "Hey Google" it gives me a feeling that the mic is on and listening to me. In this Insignia I dont get that sound...when I say "OK google" it just silently listens.....any fix?

- Answer In the Google home app select the device settings. After you're in the device settings, select accessibility. When you're in the accessibility settings make sure play start sound is turned on.

- Answer Move the further apart. My 3 speakers are in different rooms, but if my phone is nearby, it will come up on the phone and speaker.

- Answer It's probably trying to upgrade firware. I would try leaving it alone for an hour and see if it finishes, if not then there is probably some other problem.

- Answer Your Assistant will select Google Play Music as your default player. However, you can change this default player through the Google Home App.

QuestionHow does the touch-free gesture control work? In the Best Buy store demo unit, I was able to skip forward a song and back a song by waving my have from right to left and left to right respectively. My unit at home doesn't do this.

- Answer I am sorry to inform you but that feature is not on this model speaker. If you have a chance verify that particular display model at the store. I have two speakers and it does not work on either one. I also have a Google speaker and it does works on that particular model.

- Answer No, you cannot pair this with another Bluetooth speaker, but you can pair it with several Google Home enabled devices, so it would work sort of like a stereo, or you can use another speaker with wifi.

- Answer I have a small house, only 1100 Sq feet, so until you get a better answer from someone else, It cover the whole upstairs with issue. Wireless connection one one end of house in Livingroom (desktop router), and Insignia all the way in the back main bedroom. No issues whatsoever
