“purchased 2nd or 3rd Insignia water filters f/Samsung refrigerator. Filter# NS-DA29-2 looks exactly like old one. Tried unsuccessfully to install filter, following all instructions. Please advise. Was this model changed?”

I had the same problem, The Insignia filters work fine. If you compare the latching ramps on the filter they are slightly different on the genuine Samsung filters and do not work.
