• No. Echo will not be able to dim the lights via this switch regardless of what type of bulbs you use.

• You can install smart bulbs into the lamp instead to get your desired effect.

• No, this switch will only turn the bulbs on at full intensity or off. If you have a Hue or other smart bulb that connects to the Echo directly, you don't need this switch.
