“When I installed the switch, paired to app , named it. I also was able to sing with alexa, and control it too. My issue is when I turn it on. The light goes on and off on its own. What's my issue? Is it a defective device? My house hasn't caught on fire”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just installed mine and it comes on it off by itself.... still investigating issue. Gonna pull switch out of box and see if wiring is causing issue. For me it is controlling a fan/ light.... and fan kicks in every few mins.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do believe you must having a wifi conflict. In Other words if you have alexia and app telling the switch to be off, then when you turn on with app the switch getting two signals one from app ON and one from Alexia OFF so it will go crazy, it will not know who to respond. You should operate with one type of control/ command. If you haveing alexia controlling other stuff in the house and like you say that you can control it with alexia you should remove the device from the app.
