If you have your wifi plugged into this outlet it will let you shut it down but not turn it back on since your wifi is off and that's what is needed to relay your message to turn that outlet back on.

If you plug your WiFi router into this device and then link it to a smart hug like Alexa or Siri or Google Assitant, you can program it to turn off at a specific time and turn back on at a specific time. However, this is just going to cut the power to your WiFi router. Depending on what WiFi router you have, a lot of the name brand ones offer Apps to download on your phone and with could accomplish the same results.
