I use the "EARBUDS WITH MIC AND VOLUME CONTROL" on both my desktop PC as well as my Windows laptop and find the performance to be outstanding! However they do have but one plug that combines connections for both phones and mic. So, the answer to your question depends on whether your computer has a separate mic input or a combination headphone/mic input. If your computer has the combo input, the mic should work, although the volume control for the phones may not, as it is primarily designed to be compatible with IOS devices.
